Pacesetter Film Arena was founded by Mustapha Jayeola, a filmmaker with over 20 years in production, directing and acting. Time and again, he saw epic stories held back by a shortage of villages that could bring them to life with authenticity. Pacesetter was built to change that: a village made for the stories Nollywood wants to tell.
Today, Pacesetter is a film village and production hub registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, on a 10-acre estate in Moniya, Ibadan. Productions including Oníbon Òjé, Awero Agan, Ade Iwa and Obinrin Ogun have been shot on its sets.
